Car clubs, motorcycle groups invited to organize their own nights on Lucas Oil Speedway's Midway
WHEATLAND, Missouri (Feb. 14, 2020) - Everybody looks forward to viewing the fast, sharp-looking race cars on the Lucas Oil Speedway dirt track, but the fun isn't limited to the oval when it comes to showing off.
Once again during the 2020 season, area car or motorcycle clubs or groups are invited to organize an outing on the Midway during a Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series event. They can pick a date on the schedule and enjoy being the center of attention.
"We've had organizations in the past show off their vehicles, whether they are classic cars, vintage race cars, muscle cars, trucks or motorcycles," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. "Those car-club or motorcycle-club nights always are some of our most-popular attractions on the Midway and we're eager for more of them this year.
"It's a great opportunity for the owners to show off their vehicles to several thousand fans, while also enjoying a night at the races and all the fun that comes with it. Now is the time to look at the schedule and inquire about the night you want."
Lorton said that individual car owners not in an organized club also can band together to show off their vehicles, whether they are on four wheels or two.

Lucas Oil Speedway will publicize the club's appearance in pre-race press releases the week of the event. Clubs and their members need to arrive at the speedway by 3 p.m. of race day as a group to set up on the midway, behind the main grandstands.
Grandstands will open at 4 p.m. for race fans to view the cars and mingle with club members until the racing program begins at 7:05 p.m.
Car club members and their guests can enjoy the night at the races as the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series competes in four divisions - Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models, Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods and O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks.
There is no admission charge for the driver and one passenger from each show car. The car club members - and their beautiful machine - get to enjoy a night with well-earned recognition.
Suites are available for rent with club members able to enjoy the races as a group from temperature-controlled comfort inside, or use the seats with prime viewing.
The Lucas Oil Speedway season kicks off with the Open Test and Tune on March 28, with the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series opening night set for April 4 with action in all four divisions - Pitts Homes USRA Modified, Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods, Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models and O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks.
