Win tickets, pick up schedules at Lucas Oil Speedway booth during this weekend's Man Show Expo

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Just two weeks before engines fire up for Lucas Oil Speedway's Open Test & Tune, fans are invited to visit the speedway's booth at this weekend's 7th annual KOZL Man Show Expo in downtown Springfield.

Drawings for tickets to events during the 2018 Lucas Oil Speedway Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series, free pocket schedules and other prizes will be given away during the Friday and Saturday event at the Expo Center, located at 635 E. St. Louis Street.

The Lucas Oil Speedway team will be located at booth 101. The Hoover Motorsports No. 50 Late Model race car driven by Kaeden Cornell will be on display at the booth and Cornell will be on hand to sign autographs on Saturday.

"This is a really fun event with a lot of neat things for everyone and we invite fans to come out and see us, and bring some friends," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "We'll have drawings for race tickets and other prizes. It's always a great time at the Man Show."

Billed as "cooler than a car show and better than a trade show," the Man Show Expo offers more than 90,000 square feet of indoor exhibitor spaces with displays showcasing a wide range of products, services and programs that men will find useful in their professional and personal lives. Live bands also will perform and there will be a chicken-wing eating contest.

Man Show hours are noon-9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $10 at the door with kids 12-and-under admitted free, as are all women who accompany a man with a paid admission.

Along with exhibits, there will be ice cold beer, barbecue grills, cool cars, trucks, ATV's, motorcycles, grills, tools, fitness products, games, home renovation ideas and products, lawn mowers, hunting and fishing, hi-tech electronics, home audio equipment, extreme sports and interactive displays. There will even be indoor laser tag and a drone contest on the lower level, along with a beard and mustache contest, along with an ugly tattoo contest on Saturday.

The Lucas Oil Speedway dirt track roars to life on March 31 with an open test and tune from 2-6 p.m. The season begins on April 7 with the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series opener with action in the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models, Big O Tires Street Stocks and Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods.
