Remainder of Pro Pulling Nationals canceled

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Despite a promising forecast for Sunday, continued heavy rain throughout the region on an already extremely saturated grounds has forced Lucas Oil Speedway and Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Officials to cancel the remainder of the Pro Pulling Nationals.

"We did everything we could to get the event in but Mother Nature was unwilling to cooperate." stated Lucas Oil General Manager Dan Robinson.

Admission tickets for the Saturday event of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals will be able to be redeemed at any remaining 2017 Lucas Oil Speedway event.

Action will resume this Thursday-Saturday, September 21st-23rd with the 7th Annual Jesse Hocket/Daniel McMillin Memorial featuring the ASCS Winged Sprint Cars and the POWRi WAR Wingless Sprint Cars.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With its entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
