Lucas Oil Speedway doubles USRA B-Mod purse, including $1,075 to win, for Larry Phillips Memorial program

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- A big Labor Day Weekend of racing at Lucas Oil Speedway has become even more intriguing with a significant purse boost to the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod portion of Saturday night's Larry Phillips Memorial.

Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson announced on Monday that the winner of the 30-lap B-Mod feature will take home $1,075 - more than double the originally listed payout. Robinson also said the remaining feature finishing positions also will be doubled.

"Our Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod racing this season has been outstanding and we're so appreciative of how all of those guys have supported us throughout the 2017 season," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. Robinson noted that there will be no entry fee for the B-Mod drivers and that the event also will count toward USRA national points.
